Name: Fuji Syusuke
Age: 4557 give or take a few years
Apparent Age: technically ageless, but he was approx 20 when he was turned.

Fuji was born to the pharaoh Khufu(4th dynasty, year 2547BC), aka: Cheops, who built the great pyramid of Cheops, which remained the tallest building in the world until the 19th century. Born as one of the older sons of the pharaoh, Fuji knew the intrigue of a royal court from a very young age.

When his father was dying, the battle began, and many of his siblings sought to stamp each other out. Being a youth with little ambition meant that Fuji simply didn’t take part in this. Not having been close to any of his brothers he couldn’t bring himself to care enough to participate, however he had been close to one of his sisters, and was enraged when she was caught in the crossfire.

He managed to plot the demise of the brother who had taken rule, Radjedef, as well as those who had helped him. However, he had misjudged the fact that this would make him the next in line for the throne. Other siblings saw his moves as being politically inspired even though he’d had no such intention.

Walking to his room one evening, what appeared to be a servant barrelled into him and sent Fuji flying. It wasn’t until he tried to stand up that he realised he’d been stabbed. Unable to get up, Fuji lay half sitting on the ground, rage boiling inside him.

It was here that Yukimura found him, and offered him the choice of living or dying. The choice was given and Fuji grasped it. Accepting the chance offered meant he would be able to exact his revenge.

Revenge is a powerful motive, especially for the afterlife, and it tends to bind more effectively than any other. Coupled with the fact that Fuji would have been a feeder in the now more developed food chain, and the fact that he was Yuki’s first turning, their bond was stronger than those normally created.

Through the years they remained companions and moved through the times together watching things come and go and history pass them by. Sometimes they aided events in history just to brighten their current decade. An implicit trust developed between them. On occasion they are lovers, friends, and confidants, yet always companions.

They share a trust level, which cannot be penetrated or broken no matter what. Despite the fact that both are entirely capable of leading their own clans, Fuji has always opted to remain with Yukimura as his enforcer, as his second. His reputation precedes him almost everywhere he goes. Anyone endangering, insulting or seeking to harm Yukimura in anyway draws his ire. He is highly protective about his sire, and it is the only thing he is ever serious about.

He is known for many things, among them: his smile, his eyes, his apparent disposition, and his temper when pissed off. It is at those times he’s known as ruthless, and cruel. It’s not something he tries to dissuade.

Quietly confident, little actually rattles him. He will always take things in stride and has an excellent ability to read people. His telepathy is increased by his heritage, and he enjoys literally screwing with people’s minds.

His relationship with Yukimura has never been about sire and created. They stand on an equal level between each other, although Fuji insists that he will always be the second. He simply lacks the motivation to lead, and the want to leave. Essentially they are eternal companions, but this does not imply monogamy, considering they’ve already got a few thousand years on them. Variety is the spice of life, and their life is long. They have rarely been separated for any significant amount of time, and are secure in their trust of each other. It’s what makes them so strong as a team. Their trust extends to each other, and little beyond that.

Fuji is very selective about whom he turns.
His first turning happened in Ancient Greece: Niou Masaharu
Since then he has turned few, but the most recent and most memorable was Fuji Yuuta, during the medieval period. The turn their bond took hit Fuji harder than he will ever admit, and he is loath to turn another.

At the current point in time, the clan has a residence in New York city. Over the years they have amassed a small fortune and own an old hotel. The entire clan has specific rooms assigned and specific floors. The closer to the top, the more trusted the member is. Members are free to come and go from the residence, and an exact number cannot be mentioned in this particular place.

Fuji has a penchant for: Blood red things. All his rooms at their residence are done in old mahogany, blood red suede and velvet.
He habitually wears blood red suede or velvet, but can occasionally be found in black as well
